Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Anjum Kherani, DMD

Dr. Anjum Kherani is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. After dental school, she completed two additional years of specialty residency training devoted exclusively to caring for children, followed by the rigorous written and oral examinations required for board certification.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia and completed her pediatric dental residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Her training ranged from infant oral health and preventive dental care to hospital-based dentistry for children with complex medical needs.

Dr. Kherani believes excellent pediatric dental care begins with trust. Her approach is calm, thoughtful, and honest—helping children feel safe and comfortable while giving parents clear explanations and practical answers.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Kherani now calls Houston home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. As both a pediatric dentist and a parent, she understands how much trust families place in the people caring for their children.
